The Asalak is a parasitic creature that bonds with a host to gain control over their body and mind. The Asalak forms a more intricate connection, blending its consciousness with the host's. While the Asalak assumes dominant control, it can subtly manipulate memories and emotions, making it difficult for others to discern the influence.

The creature is serpentine, about the length of a forearm, with flexible, spiny appendages it uses to attach to the host’s nervous system. Once inside, it enhances the host's physical and mental capabilities, providing superhuman strength, heightened reflexes, and advanced healing. However, this comes at the cost of the host's autonomy and often their personality.

The Asalak are highly intelligent and have a collective consciousness, allowing them to share knowledge and strategy across their kind. Their parasitic nature drives them to seek powerful or influential hosts, making them dangerous manipulators of societies and events, often embedding themselves in leadership positions or key figures to achieve their broader goals.

Once rulers of a section of Umissia (Continent) in its ancient time of the Üstün Empire (Nation), they were overthrown and taken by the Üstün as servents.
