Known as "The Refit" The Tolokonsky MK III-R was originally a MK III but with a refitted firing mechanism to use caps instead of powder.

With an overall length of 1,425mm and with a weight of five and a half kilo’s it was a heft of a weapon. Firing a ball with a calibre of 19.8mm, this rifle could pack a punch.
