Notes on the Language

  • Sentence structure leans Subject–Verb–Object, but is flexible.

  • “si” acts as both “I” and negation, depending on position:

    • si shilta → “I cannot”
  • “geou” marks future tense

  • “ekess” functions like “to” before verbs

  • Some loan words (e.g. middle, picked, sent) suggest either:

    • incomplete lexicon
    • or intentional cultural blending
