Once a firebrand preacher in the river-town of Caldrin’s Bluff, Josiah M'barek took up arms after a massacre at his mission chapel left twenty-seven innocents dead. Since then, he's wandered the deserts of Umissia, bearing scripture in one hand and a revolver in the other. Folks call him the Gunsaint—half myth, half man of God.
He preaches salvation, but offers no mercy to bandits, slavers, or those who prey on the weak. Stories say he carved a cross into the barrel of his gun “Judgment,” so every soul he ends sees the Lord's mark on their way out.
Draped in a sun-faded preacher’s coat, a bandolier of blessed rounds crosses his chest like a holy sash. A crucifix swings from his neck, catching the sunlight. His gaze is stern but calm—the look of a man who's seen the devil and isn't impressed.
